What this webcam test checks
The test asks the browser for a high-quality camera stream and reports the resolution it actually receives. The preview helps evaluate framing, focus, exposure, color, motion stability, and whether the correct camera is active.
Privacy
Video frames remain inside the browser. The optional save-frame button draws the current frame to a local canvas and downloads it directly to your device. Mini Test Lab does not receive the camera stream or saved image.
Improving webcam quality
- Place a soft light in front of you rather than behind you.
- Clean the lens and keep the camera close to eye level.
- Connect external cameras directly instead of through an overloaded hub.
- Close other applications that may reduce resolution or lock the camera.
